it’s a haze, kind of strange, back in the days
In September, this little ember when i first start to remember

the remnant sounds of joyous laughter
the cave of happily ever after
the way that pets predict disaster
the loss of all that I’ve sought after

and now I’m having troubles sleeping
despite the white noise drone of my fan
my brain is crying out and leaching onto anything it can
